I had occasion to install solar panels on my rooftop of my home at Kadavanthara, recently. Primarily, the reason was the kseb bills going astronomical high and the expectation of a very hot summer and therefore more usage of airconditioning. I approached POWERGENE SOLAR(P) LTD, which is registered/ empanelled with the KSEB, whose office is located at Cheruparambath road , Kadavanthara , Kochi 682020. Based on our energy requirements it was decided to choose a 3KWH solar panel system. A subsidy of 54000.00 as per PM scheme for solar panel installation was adjusted against the total cost of about 2 lacs. The director and AGM visited our location on 31 Jan 24 and in less than 5 days my solar panels were installed and all the electrical wiring including solar inverter were fitted. Their team consisted of well experienced members and specialists for each type of work. On my request they even liased with Kseb for quick installation of the kseb Net meter. I am a satisfied happy customer with the installed solar system producing about 17kwh of power each day at this time of the year. We congratulate Powergene Ltd and their Director Dr Aiswarya Jayakumar and team for continuous follow up and completing this project in such a short time with constant attention to clear loose ends.
